THIRD MEDITERRANEO 116’ M/Y “BOTTI” DELIVERED

After its launch on March 14th, M/Y “Botti” was delivered to her owner on May 4th. Featuring large, bright spaces combined naturally with a streamlined, flowing design, she is the third Mediterraneo 116’ unit in the Class product line.

M/Y “Botti”, the third Mediterraneo 116’ to leave the shipyard, has been delivered to her owner. A 35.5 meter yacht in the Class product line, with a fiberglass displacement hull and a carbon fiber superstructure, Mediterraneo 116’ made its debut in May 2017 and has proved to be one of Benetti’s most successful models, with the sale of the fourth unit recently closed in Asia.

The exteriors are designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta, while the interiors are the work of Benetti’s Interior Style Department, working jointly with design firm Radyca. The Mexican owner contributed personally to choosing the details of the furnishings and the materials. Light forms an integral part of the interior decor and floods into the spacious settings through big glazed surfaces.

The main driver of the interior design and furnishings in the communal spaces for owner and crew is social interaction. Fine fabrics, wooden details in warm colours and soft lighting make for relaxing settings. The Main Deck has a lounge area furnished with sofas, chairs and an American bar. The bow area is dominated by the full-beam Master Suite, which has two big glazed surfaces to enjoy every moment at sea to the full. With wooden floors in the night area and marble in the bathroom, the owner’s suite is also fitted with a big walk-in wardrobe and a studio with sofa and TV.

The convivial nature of both interior and exterior spaces is reprised on the Upper Deck, where a spacious outdoor dining area featuring a large round table with ten chairs dominates the scene. The interior has a Sky Lounge furnished with a sofa, a 75-inch TV and a game table. The captain’s cabin is situated in the bow, near the helm station. A big jacuzzi and personalised sun lounging pad complete the forward area on this deck and the same style is reprised on the Sun Deck. There is another personalised sun lounging pad in the stern, while sofas and a sun lounging pad in the bow give the outdoor area a convivial and enjoyable feel, even during navigation.

The Lower Deck has four guest cabins: two symmetrical VIP cabins with double beds, plus two guest cabins with twin (sliding) and pullman beds, sleeping up to 10 people. Also on the Lower Deck, in the forward area, are three cabins for the crew which, together with the captain’s cabin, can accommodate up to seven people.
