THIRD MEDITERRANEO 116’ M/Y “BOTTI” LAUNCHED

Launched the Mediterraneo 116’ “BOTTI”, third model in the Class product line. The flowing, streamlined design of the exteriors is reflected in the bright and comfortable interiors.

Against a festive backdrop, last March 14, Benetti successfully launched the third Mediterraneo 116’ unit, a 35.5-meter with a displacement fiberglass and superstructure carbon fiber yacht in the Class product line, for delivery next April 30.

The exteriors are designed by architect Giorgio M. Cassetta, while the interiors have been developed by Benetti’s Interior Style Department in partnership with Radyca, a firm called in personally by the owner who played an active role in the choice of furnishings and fabrics. The flowing, streamlined design of the exteriors is reflected in the layout of the interiors and the decor, where light and big spaces come together to create bright, comfortable settings.

Fine fabrics, details in warm-coloured woods and soft lighting are the leading actors in the communal areas and the spaces dedicated to the owner and their guests. The indoor area of the Main Deck contains a comfortable lounge with a dining area and an American bar to enjoy the shared settings to the full. Further forward, the Master Suite is dominated by two large glazed surfaces and furnished with wood floors in the night area and marble for the bathroom area. Next to the Master Suite, a comfortable studio with sofa and TV creates a private rest and relaxation area.

The stern area on the Upper Deck, with wood flooring everywhere, is dominated by a roomy dining area with a big round table seating up to ten people. The interior is designed for moments of leisure and fun, with a Sky Lounge furnished with a big sofa, a 75-inch TV and a game table with four seats. A big jacuzzi and a completely personalised sun lounging space are the center of the bow area. The stern of the Sun Deck is also furnished with a customised sun lounging space, while deckchairs, sofas and sun loungers in the bow contribute to making the outdoor area comfortable and convenient.

The four guest cabins are on the Lower Deck. The two VIP cabins with double beds are arranged symmetrically, while the other two guest cabins have sliding twin beds and pulman beds. Still on the Lower Deck, the three crew cabins are located in the bow area and, with the captain’s cabin next to the helm station on the Upper Deck, provide accommodation up to seven people.

Top speed is 15 knot thanks to two MAN V12-1400, of 1,029 kW (1,400 mHP @ 2,100 rpm each), and cruising speed is about 14 knots. The range at 10 knots is 3,200 nautical miles, with stabilization during navigation and at anchor provided by electric stabilizing fins.
